Mrs. Frank J. Cavalieri, Active in Church Work Mrs. Russo Cavalieri, 77, of Maribin a leader for many years in the societies of Our Lady of Loretto Church, died Monday (Sept. 6, 1954) in Sisters' Hospital.

Craig to Seek Seat Of Sen. Jenner, Paper Says INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 7 (U.P.).-Gov. George N. Craig has decided to run for U.

S. Sen. Jenner's seat instead of Sen. Capehart's, the Indianapolis Times said Monday. City Editor Irving Leibowitz wrote that it was learned Gov.

Craig will take a top federal job from Eisenhower Administration when his term ends in 1957. Mr. Leibowitz said Gov. Craig then will run against Sen. Jenner in 1958, instead of against Sen.

Hiawatha Train Wrecked; 12 Passengers Injured BAKER, Sept. 7 persons were injured, none seriously, when eight units of the Milwaukee Railroad's Hiawatha passenger Train 16 left the tracks Sunday night eight miles east of here, near the Montana-North Dakota border. The tracks were washed out when inches of rain fell during the afternoon in nearby hills.

Water cascaded wildly across the tracks. It turned the clay soil into sticky gumbo, making country roads impassable. The head unit of cleared the three diesel engine small bridge, then left the tracks but remained upright. Some 1600 feet of track were either ripped up by the wreck or washed out. Doctors from a dozen Montana and North Dakota towns worked in waist-deep mucky yellow water giving medical attention to the injured passengers.

One ambulance mired down in an attempt to reach the scene..
