Pierce, Ha. April was born March 30, 1985 in Fort Pierce, Florida to Brenda Kay Gordon and Dar- rell Barton. She worked in retail sales and was a good hearted in- dividual who Gordon loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Surviving are her parents; two sisters, Carmen (Theodore) Huffman and Sarah Gordon both of Mansfield; two brothers, Josh Atwell and Stephenie Myers, and Darrell Barton, Jr. all of Mansfield; special long time friends; Stasha Simmons, Tiffany Myers; and six nieces and nephews, Austin Huffman, Alexis Huffman, Asia Huffman, Dashawn 1Ws, Brandon Atwell, and Alyssa Atwell.

Margaret A. Fisher Cfrer MANSFIELD Margaret A. Fisher Gfrer, 86, formerly of Brookwood Way, died Thursday afternoon, Aug. 2, 2007, at Mifflin Care Center. Margaret was born in Savannah, Ohio May 9, 1921 to Howard and Lone Ila Crooks Calhoun, who both preceded her in death.
She was a member of Mayflower Congregational Church and was a homemaker. She loved music Der and was a member of the Gfrer's Concert Band. She also liked fishing and cooking. Margaret is survived by 3 sons: Dennis Fisher of Denver, Bill Fisher of Greenville, NC, Tom Fisher of Mansfield, 1 step-son Joseph Gfrer of Mt. Gilead; 3 step-daughters: Martha (Ted) Selby of Mansfield, Frances Leitenberger of Mansfield, Maryann (Bill) Boaden of Toledo; 3 grandchildren: Chris, Kaine and Marie; 6 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

1 1 Vz CHARDON James It DiMeolo, 79, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at University Hospital in Cleveland. James was born in Coraopolis, on Nov. 30, 1927.1Ie had lived in Chardon the past six years, moving from Canton. James served as assistant superintendent at Alliance City Schools and Canton City Schools and superintendent at Wickliffe City Schools.
He also had been principal at Aurora, Solon and Navarre schools. Ile retired from education in 1983 after 30 years. James married June Cover on Dec. 19, 1953, in Mount Gilead. She survives him.
James was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed playing golf, tennis and working out. He also enjoyed boating while living at Atwood Lake. James was an avid reader and enjoyed all activities with his 15 grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by two sons, Christopher P. DiMeolo of Chardon; Gregory (Karen) DiMeolo of Chardon; one daughter, Leisa A. (Mark) Tebbs of Augusta, 15 grandchildren, Ryan (Arnanda); Erin; Nathan; Elizabeth; Benjamin; Matthew; Daniel; Jesse; Jared; Mark; Lauren; Marcus; James; Matthew; and Lydia; and his dog, Sparky. James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sarah (Grey) DiMeolo. Calling hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m.

Also arrested was Charles Geer, 47, of Shelby. Eight other people were detained at the scene.
Authorities seized suspected heroin, drug paraphernalia and money. Additional charges may follow pending a review by the Crawford County Prosecutor's Office. 2, 2007, in MedCentraliMansfield Hospital following a long illness. Robert was born February 18, 1926 to Russell and Viola (Yarger) Baker and was graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1944. After graduat- ing high school, Robert placed his country first and enlisted in Baker the United States Navy. He served from June 1944 to June 1946 and he was honorably discharged with 8t the rank of Yeo- man 3rd Class. Baker After his time in the service Bob used his GI Bill to make his way through college.
He graduated from Heidelberg College earning his bachelor's degree. On August 9, 1958 he was married to Jean Sinerson with whom he celebrated 48 years of love and commitment. Bob retired from White Westinghouse after working 38 years as an Electrical Engineer and Cost Analyst Advisor. After retirement Bob gave his time as a volunteer at Richland Newhope impacting children's lives with compassion and heartfelt care. A competitor at heart, Robert loved athletics especially basketball.
While playing basketball for Mansfield Senior, Robert earned the honor of being All-Ohio. In 1995 he was inducted into the Mansfield Senior High School Athletics Hall of Fame. Bob loved to play golf, he could be found at any area course. Robert was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church for 50 years. Bob "Peanuts" Baker will be remembered by friends and family for his constant encouragement and kindness.
He was a perfectionist who did all things well and will remain a beacon in the hearts of those he pushed to become better. He is survived by his loving wife Jean Baker of Mansfield and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a great-great nephew. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother William Baker and a brother-in-law Jim Sinerson. (Jones), and she survives. Ernie worked for Taylor Metal in Mansfield for 30 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Faith Family Worship Center, Port Clinton and Moose Lodge 1610, Port Clinton. Ernie enjoyed fishing, playing bass guitar at his church, tinkering around the house, spending time with family, and helping others. Southard, 89, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at Wood lawn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born May 29, 1918 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Max and Josephine Cervinski. She worked at Mansfield Tire and Rubber Co. for 33 years.
Helen enjoyed spending time at her cottage at the lake and playing bingo. She especially enjoyed her winters spent in Florida with her husband. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Doris Norris, Virginia and Robert Zody and Bev and Ray Maffett, all of Mansfield; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Marcia Southard of Mansfield; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, James K. Southard, parents, great-great grandchild, Christopher Schmidt, sister, Sophie Rachel, and three brothers, Frank, Joe and Jimmy Cervinski.

Dennis was born on September 30, 1949 in Mansfield to Robert and Olvie (Adkins) Britton and was graduated from Lexington High -2) for- School 1 Dennis served in the Unites States Marine I 1 Corps from 1969 to 1973 aboard Adkins the USS Holland and was a member of the United States Color Guard while stationed in Spain. Proud to serve his country, he often said that it was an honor to wear his uniform. Residing in St. Manes, Idaho, Dennis loved the wildlife the country offered. He had a passion for hunting big game such as bear and elk.
Dennis could also be found casting a line from along the shores of the Salmon River. I Edward J. Schroeder LOUDONVII LE Edward J. Schroeder, 63, of Ohio 39, died unexpectedly at his home, Thesday, July 24, 2007. Mr. Schroeder was born June 26, 1944 in Abilene, Kansas, the son of the late Edward John and Gloria (Stein-born) Schroeder.
He had lived in the Mansfield area from 1969 until moving to Loudonville in 1995, after being raised in Kansas. He was a 25-year employee of United Telephone Company, Mansfield retiring in 1989. He had most recently worked viith 'fruax Printing of Loudonville. Ed loved woodworking and playing golf. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Kenton and Janine Schroeder of Spring Hope, NC; 2 daughters and sons-in-law: Stacey and John Meyer of Salina, KS, and Jackie and Michael Lewis of Raleigh, NC; and 5 grandchildren.
