She had worked for lowa Methodist Medical Center before retiring. She was a member of Prayer of Faith Missionary Church of God in Christ and had served as a missionary. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Davis; two daughters, Barbara Griffith of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Janis Bell of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren. ARLENE JEMISON Des Moines Arlene Hayes Jemison, 81, of the 1000 block of 63rd Street died of cancer Friday at home. Mrs. Jemison was born in Greenville, and had lived in Ensley, before moving to Des Moines four years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of 23rd Street Baptist Church in Ensley. A great-grandchild, Asia Monise Patton, survives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie.

Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the church. Nichols and Son Funeral Home is handling local arrangements. NELLIE AUGSPURGER Carlisle Nellie E. Augspurger, 94, of Carlisle died of a heart ailment Sunday at Carlisle Care Center.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski. Mrs. Augspurger was born in Davis County and had lived in Pulaski before moving to Carlisle in 1963. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by five sons, Byron of Des Moines, Roger of Bella Vista, Keith of Pulaski, Dwayne of Marion and Arden of Van Meter; a daughter, Rose Brahm of Clifton Spring, N.Y.; a brother, Paul Bohi of Waynesboro, 13 grandchildren; and several greatgrandchildren. Cole was born in Ottumwa and had lived in Indianola since 1937. He was a retired petroleum truck driver with Warren Co. Oil and enjoyed working on small motors, fishing, camping and playing the guitar. He is survived by his wife, Mary; a son, Richard of Winterset; two daughters, Rose Mary Thiel of Pleasantville and Denise Anderson of Indianola; three half brothers, Jim of Bentonsport, Leonard of Douds and Ronnie of Elma, 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He had worked for GE Medical Systems before retiring and was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star and Lion's Club. He was an avid bowler and gardener. He is survived by his wife, Joan; a daughter, Carla Evans, and a brother, Chuck, both of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mollie.
