Beautiful but DifficultSteveI wanted this for my kid’s lunch. Being steel with silicone gaskets, it checked the boxes of durability, ease of cleaning, and fairly leakproof (I didn’t get to test that). Unfortunately, it’s VERY difficult to get open and closed, like the metal threads aren’t perfectly aligned. I figured, if it was this hard for me to do, there’s no way my child can do this every day by himself at lunch. Sadly, this was returned. 2

Functional and funAntonellaBeen taking my lunch to work in this daily and get asked all the time where I got it. It's stylish, functional, keeps the food warm and doesn't spill. Couldn't be happier.5

Haven't used it yet, but looks goodSharonI have not taken my lunch yet in this, but it looks good. I am a little concerned that one of the gaskets appears to need to be replaced on the metal disk somewhat frequently, but we will see. I like that this is totally dishwasher proof and has a good capacity. Bought from As Is.4

Does not keep food temperaturePollyWe purchased these because we thought it would be great for my kids to bring hot lunch to school. The problem starts with after putting hot food in the container feels too hot to the touch from the outside, not good for kids, besides it is heavy to carry. Then by the time it’s their lunch time the food is already cold. I loved the size and the separated compartment design. But it is really not functional as it advertised.1

Hard to closeStephaineMaterial Quality is good but it’s hard to close when attach two tins together and seal rings of lid are easier to fall off.2

Great for TravelAuraWell made! Since it is insulated, we’ve used it on long road trips to keep a warm meal. I like it because the two compartments have their individual lids and the kit screws together so it won’t fall open or spill accidentally.5

PassNonyaReviewed function: food temp, ease of travel, comfort.It does not keep food warm. When the food is hot- the can is hot and uncomfortable. It cools quickly so it’s easier to hold but then the food is cold. Ergo only cold food.It is really heavy on its own (how many lbs)? and the handle uncomfortable to carry for any duration.It doesn’t have capacity for much food. The cylinder is big, but it’s domed inside in a way that you can only use half capacity. Also the lid cuts into the space.Cleaning is annoying because it has extra lids. There is no room for silverware either so that plus this is at least 8 parts to keep track of.It is uncomfortable, unwieldy, incapable of keeping food temperature regulated, and has a decreased capacity. I just buy food at work. It’s more comfortable to have a thin take out plastic tub salad with a bread in a plastic bag than this useless heavy burden.I might use it as a compost bin but I don’t think it has capacity for that either.1

Not insulatedSarahI used it for the first time today and can say with certainty there is no insulation or double walls. It is just a container that separated two foods. It's also very bulky.1

I bought it because IMurielI bought it because I needed something bigger for my kids lunch box, thinking I could use only half. Unfortunately the cover doesn’t work for the bottom part, which is the one I was hoping to use. But it still a nice canteen.3
