(UPI)-John W. Larrabee, 19, R.R. 1, Greenfield, a freshman at Taylor University and a former high school track star, drowned Sunday while swimming with three other students across a campus lake. Larrabee and the others, clad in swim trunks, plunged into the water of an unfinished lake on the edge of the campus and stroked their way across it in what college officials said was a violation of school rules. Larrabbee apparejjitly became exhausted and called for help and panicked when the other swimmers tried to save him as he floundered in eight feet of water about 150 feet from shore.
