Heard many good things about him & his craft. Recently, I wanted a Simpson M7 style handle with Muhle Synthetic silvertip fibre (Simpson don't make M7 in synthetic). I just email him what I wanted.
He machined for me on this spot & send me this photo, ready to ship!
I'm really impressed by his turnaround time & also the worksmanship.
This guy really rocks!
Can't wait to receive this brush!

Beautiful! The next brush I get when I'm ready will be a Rudy Vey Persian Jar made of imitation ivory. His imitation ivory is second to none. It even has a grain in it that makes it nearly impossible to tell the difference betweeen it and the real thing. The only thing I've seen that is made of ivory is the keys on a piano. There is definitely a grain to ivory. His imitation ivory has a grain. I'm just torn as to what kind of knot I would put in it. I might actually put an Envy Shave White Supreme badger. I already have two brushes with the Envy Luxury Silvertip so this would be a nice change of pace. But I drool every time I see his imitation ivory. Absolutely gorgeous. Enjoy that brush.

Nothing nicer to my eye than imitation (faux) ivory for a brush handle. Brad Sears also offers handles in Antique Ivory, which I’ve not seen elsewhere, which has a grain. Some of the handles that are snapped up these days that look like Joseph’s coat of many colours wouldn’t look out of place in a sweet shop. Ivory all the way for me.

Doug Korn used to offer an Antique Ivory resin when he used to turn brushes, as well. I got mine from him a couple of years ago. One of the most beautiful resins I have ever seen.

Beautiful brush! I just sent Mr. Vey an email for a price quote, using finest badger sourced from his U.K. Supplier. Thanks much for this idea.

P.S., I hope you don’t mind that I told Mr. Vey that I got the notion from your post here on ATG.

Just tried this brush the 1st time using Muhle Sea Buckhorn shaving soap. Of course, I do my usual pre-shave ritual washing face with Castile soap & apply Proraso Red pre-shave.
The handle is really very good as it provides comfortable & firm grip & it lather really very well!
Only thing, I'm not sure the brush haven't broken in or what somehow I find it a bit scratchy much like a best badger brush.
Conclusion, I really enjoyed using this brush & very happy with it.

I’ve asked him to make me this handle with a Shavemac two-band silvertip fan in a 24mm knot. I am sure it will be a beauty. The faux ivory looks really nice, and features quite the shine. After I told him I was inspired by your post and photos, he wrote back that he’d already gotten another order for an ivory M7. I’m guessing it’s due to your post and photos. Happy shaves!

New brush headed my way from Rudy Vey. M7 replica in faux ivory w/a Shavemac 24mm fan knot in 2-band silvertip. It looks like a beauty! Many thanks to Bengkia369 for the lead. Here’s the picture Rudy sent me before setting the knot:

Wow! I think you will love it as it is even nicer than the photo!
Your knot seems to be slightly smaller than mine?
